Transtar’s Euro UltraV™ Primer is a one-component UV hardening primer that is cured through the use of ultraviolet (UV) lamp. This product is ideally suited for spot repairs, and can fill and build up to 4 mils in one application. It is ready for sanding in 3 – 4 minutes. UV Cured Primer dries to a semi-transparent color and allows the part to be painted in just a few minutes. Other technical advantages include: excellent adhesion to the prepared substrate, superior corrosion resistance without the need of additional primer or metal treatments, easy to sand, excellent top coat color holdout, and a fast cure time, regardless of shop temperature. If desired, this product may be reduced using Euro UltraV™ Primer Reducer. UV Cured Primer can be applied in a single coat to the desired build level.
